About Me
As far back as I can remember I have always been fascinated with sound files. Without them we wouldn't have film, television or radio. Our mobile phone, PC and iPad all contain sound files, sounds that we listen to on a daily basis. Whichever way you look at it, sound files play a significant part of our lives.
The biggest problem for me came when I started dabbling with cartoon animation. Finding the cartoon sounds I needed proved almost impossible and consequently turned into an uphill struggle. I suppose looking back, it was a blessing in disguise because it became a turning point in my life. The time had come to start producing my own sounds.
About Me and You
By the time 2007 arrived I had already built up quite a sizable collection of various sound files (mainly MP3 and .WAV). I wanted to put them to good use and decided a website would be the answer. One that would play host to a selection of usable wav sound files, to assist others working on their projects. Wav-Sounds was born.
It's hard to believe that it's been 10 years since the website was first launched, which has seen millions of visitors worldwide. In order to celebrate the anniversary I decided to revamp the old site with a brand new sparkly one!. Hope you like it. I will of course be regularly updating the site and adding new categories and wav sound files, so add us to your favorites and keep checking back.
